June, 3rd 2010
Instituto Bernabeu has received its first national prize in basic research given by the Spanish Society for Fertility.
The project called “Embryo Metabolomics” opens new horizons for increasing pregnancy rates, reducing multiple pregnancies and understanding the early needs of the embryo.
This study, which is a giant step in the understanding of the human embryo, was done by the University of Alicante and IB BIOTECH.
The prize was accepted by the director of IB BIOTECH, Dr. Belén Lledó, after her presentation at the Congress which took place in Valencia last week.
