Dr. Belén Lledó gives a talk on pharmacogenetics in ovarian stimulation

The IB Biotech director talked about how genetic analysis allows ovarian stimulation treatments to be personalised.
Dr. Belén Lledó, director of Instituto Bernabeu Biotech, took part in a new edition of the meetings organised by IBSA on the 10th of July with a talk entitled ‘Pharmacogenetics in ovarian stimulation’.
During her presentation, the Instituto Bernabeu specialist discussed how the analysis of certain genetic polymorphisms allows for the personalisation of ovarian stimulation treatments. Through the IBgenFIV test, designed by Instituto Bernabeu, it is possible to adapt the hormonal regimen to the genetic characteristics of each patient, optimising the ovarian response and increasing the chances of successful treatment.
These meetings between local specialists, promoted by IBSA, are a consolidated space for scientific exchange between professionals in the sector. In previous editions, other specialists from Instituto Bernabeu, such as Dr. Ana Fuentes and Dr. Paolo Cirillo, have also participated.
