Dr Verónica Legidos
She earned her Degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Miguel Hernández University of Elche (Alicante) in 2006. During her undergraduate studies, she completed her clinical placements at the Alicante General University Hospital, where her vocation for gynaecology was born, especially in the field of reproductive medicine.
She completed her specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Elche General University Hospital (Alicante), also undertaking assisted reproduction training at the same hospital and further complementing her specific education and practical experience in highly prestigious fertility clinics.
She worked as a gynaecologist at the Elche General University Hospital and as an assisted reproduction specialist in different specialised centres for more than 15 years.
She joined the team of gynaecologists at Instituto Bernabeu in June 2025, assuming the role of Medical Coordinator of its Elche clinic.
She holds the Level III Ultrasound Course certification from Hospital Vall d’Hebron in Barcelona.
A member of the Spanish Fertility Society (SEF), she has also been part of its Ethics and Good Clinical Practice Committee.
She is co-author of scientific publications and author of book chapters related to reproductive medicine. She has also maintained active participation in multiple studies, clinical trials and research projects.
She has completed numerous courses, symposiums and training sessions, and has attended national and international conferences, always aimed at staying up to date in her field of expertise. In some of these, she has participated as a speaker, presenting research results in the field of fertility.
She has also collaborated as a speaker in training courses and master’s programmes in assisted reproduction for biologists, biotechnologists, gynaecologists, primary care physicians and medical residents from various specialties.
Interested in complex infertility cases, especially recurrent implantation failure and recurrent miscarriage, she offers an integrative and personalised approach to her patients in order to achieve the shared goal of a healthy pregnancy.
Her professional interest also focuses on helping female couples achieve pregnancy, as well as women who wish to pursue motherhood independently, through an individualised approach to each specific case.
