Rocío Méndez

• After graduating in Biology from the University of Malaga in 2004, after working in a clinical analysis laboratory, she specialised in assisted reproduction and took a Master’s degree in Assisted Reproduction Biotechnology at the University of Valencia in 2009. Since 2010 she has worked in London, Glasgow and Cork, where she specialised as an embryologist in the UK through the ACE certificate and the HCPC.

• She returned to Spain in 2019, since then she has worked in different public and private centres and has been certified as a Senior Clinical Embryologist by the scientific societies ASEBIR (2022) and ESHRE (2024), until joining the Instituto Bernabeu team in 2025.

• She is a member of the Spanish Association for the Study of Reproductive Biology (ASEBIR), the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), the Official Association of Biologists of the Community of Madrid (COBCM), the Association of Reproductive and Clinical Scientists (ARCS) and the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC).
