II Forum Mujer y Sociedad
In the second edition of the Forum, 16 and 17 February 2007, the three areas of discussion were Woman & Maternity, a discussion of society’s present demands which is acting like a barrier to female fertility and maternity. Violence against Women , which highlighted one of today’s hardest realities: social, family and gender violence which, with worrying frequency, has the woman as the target. The third area was Woman & Social Conflicts. Women find themselves in especially vulnerable situations regarding different social conflicts, for example, infectious diseases. The Forum took place in the Lecture Rooms of the CAM savings bank, Alicante.
