Doctors Llácer, Castillo and Ten selected as scientific research reviewers for the world's most important infertility congress
The congress sponsored by the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) and the world’s most important gathering for experts in the field has selected three doctors from Instituto Bernabeu for the role of scientific research reviewers. The reproductive medicine clinic participates annually in this essential gathering for leading researchers in the field of fertility by presenting scientific research on infertility, genetics and embryology, amongst others. Furthermore, Medical Co-Director of Instituto Bernabeu, Dr Joaquín Llácer, is a spokesperson on the society’s committee of representatives and the Spanish specialists’ representative at ESHRE until 2020.
Dr Joaquín Llácer, Medical Co-Director of Instituto Bernabeu, Dr Jorge Ten, Head of the Embryology Unit and gynaecologist and researcher, Juan Carlos Castillo, have been selected to assess the scientific quality of work in their areas of interest, speciality and research.
The European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology holds this event every year and it brings together leading international experts in reproductive medicine. This year, it will take place in Vienna between 23rd and 26th June. Over 10,000 experts gather at the event to get an understanding of the latest developments. The prestige and experience of the clinic's experts has meant that, this year, ESHRE has selected three of its specialists for the role of scientific research reviewers of the work that is presented at the annual congress.
Amongst its selection criteria, ESHRE takes into account experts’ academic background, medical experience and experience as reviewers.
