Instituto Bernabeu commemorates World Environment Day with real data and active engagement.

On the occasion of World Environment Day, Instituto Bernabeu has shared the latest data on its commitment to sustainability, confirming that health and respect for the environment are two essential pillars of its care model.
During the month of May 2025, thanks to the performance of its photovoltaic plant, the group has achieved:
- Avoid the emission of 77.36 CO₂ tonnes.
- Save 65.15 tonnes of carbon equivalent
- Generate a positive impact equivalent to planting 106 trees.
In addition, Instituto Bernabeu has the annual certification of the calculation of its carbon footprint issued by the Ministry for Ecological Transition, which positions it as a benchmark in sustainability within the reproductive medicine sector.
Elena García, Director of Quality and Sustainable Development, highlights:
‘Medical excellence must go hand in hand with sustainability. Our responsibility to the planet is an essential part of our mission’.
The organisation continues to implement specific actions in all its areas, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda, reaffirming that sustainability is not a one-off action, but a permanent commitment.
