Body Mass Index (BMI) calculation.

The following BMI calculator will prove useful for determining your situation in terms of body mass. General health issues and fertility issues occur where the BMI is very low and in cases of overweight patients from class II.

Only the following information is required: body weight in kg and height in m.

BMI = Weight (kg) / Height2 (m)

The results obtained can be compared with those in the following table in order to find out which category you are in.

< 20 kg/m2

Underweight

20-25 kg/m2

Normal weight

25-27 kg/m2

Class I overweight

27-30 kg/m2

Class II overweight

30-35 kg/m2

Class I obesity

35-40 kg/m2

Class II obesity

40-50 kg/m2

Class III obesity

> 50 kg/m2

Class IIII obesity
