Instituto Bernabeu Venice participates in international scientific forums

Our team of specialists in Venice has recently participated in several scientific meetings where they have shared their knowledge and experience with other experts in reproductive medicine.

During the National Congress of the Italian Society of Assisted Reproduction (S.I.R.U.), held in the city of Verona, Dr Annalisa Racca, medical coordinator of our clinic in Venice, was invited as a speaker to address one of the most debated questions in the field of fertility: is there a direct relationship between the quality and quantity of oocytes? Her intervention aroused great interest among the audience, as it clarified a key aspect in the evaluation of ovarian reserve and the success of assisted reproduction treatments.

At the same congress, Dr Giulia Bertapelle, gynaecologist specialised in reproductive medicine at Instituto Bernabeu Venice, moderated a panel discussion entitled ‘Il tempo della ricerca’ (‘The time for research’), coordinated by the Young SIRU initiative, which promotes the active participation of professionals under the age of 35 in the sector scientific development.

This participation in the S.I.R.U. is in addition to Dr Racca’s recent participation in an international online seminar organised by the prestigious society @eshre, under the title “Challenges in Safety and Quality in ART: Duostim – Is Two Much Too Much? In this forum, specialists from different countries discussed dual ovarian stimulation protocols (Duostim), a strategy that has gained prominence in certain patient profiles. Dr Racca presented the benefits, limitations and clinical considerations of its application, in a session that stood out for its practical approach and scientific rigour.

The active participation of our specialists in these spaces reinforces Instituto Bernabeu’s role as an international reference centre in the study and treatment of infertility, and reflects our commitment to continuous training, innovation and the advancement of knowledge for the benefit of our patients.
