Nowadays, increasing attention is paid to the role played by nutritional and hormonal disorders in matters of fertility. We must not forget that fertility is governed by the endocrine system.

In women, recurrent miscarriages or problems to conceive are frequently caused by endocrinological disorders, such as thyroid diseases, diabetes, obesity/low weight and polycystic ovaries, among others. Male infertility is also related to hormonal problems (thyroid diseases, diabetes, obesity/low weight, and testosterone deficiency for whatever cause).

Our Endocrinology and Nutrition Department offers a comprehensive approach to our patients by means of a nutritional and hormonal assessment and, subsequently, an satisfactory treatment and monitoring that, in some cases, will result in the restoration of the reproductive function without the need to resort to additional techniques
