How useful is genetic testing during pregnancy?

There is a range of techniques available which can be used to obtain the necessary information for the correct development of the foetus before birth with the aim of correcting possible anomalies early. Given that approximately 5% of foetuses can present some type of anomaly it is important to undergo this type of study in all pregnancies.
