Bachelor of Chemistry, specialized in Biochemistry from the Universidad de Barcelona. He conducted his doctoral thesis in the Department of Molecular Biology of the Faculty of Pharmacy at the same University. During 1997-2000 he carried out a postdoctoral stay at IGBMC in Strasbourg (France). When he came back to Spain, he started working at the Neuroscience Institute in Alicante as a researcher in the Programme "Ramón y Cajal". In 2006 he started working at the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics in Instituto Bernabeu. Since he conducted his doctoral thesis he has always developed his research in the Molecular Biology field. Nowadays, his interest is focussed in the development of non invasive techniques of prenatal diagnose.
