Doctor specialized in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, he is Doctor of Medicine from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, he was Section Head of Gynaecology from 1972 till 2007 at the Hospital General, Hospital Provincial and Hospital de Sant Joan d´Alacant. A Cytopathologist Fellow of the International Academy of Cytology. He is Honorary President of the Spanish Society of Cytology and Director of Courses of Gynaecological Cytopathology, of Workshops of Cytopathology in Spain, France and South America. He is a member of the Spanish Consensus of Uterine Cervix Cancer Prevention and the Spanish Consensus about VPH vaccines. Nowadays he is the Director of the Oncological Gynaecology Department of Instituto Bernabeu in Alicante.
