Embryo adoption
The embrio donation is a procedure for which patient decide to “adopt” embrios from other couples who have been through an IVF treatment. For this reason, phisical similaryties, blood group and RH are not always possible.
This embrios have been thru a frozen process, as for their survival is low and the rate of successful pregnancies is around 30%.
Nevertheless, this rate is actually raising, this is due to that we criopreserve the embrios through a new process, called vitrification, we are getting a higher rate of sucesful pregnancies.
The ultimate aim is doubly beneficial. In the first place, it enables that couples in waiting lists and in long and cumbersome adoption proceedigns can fulfill their dreams of becaming parents quickly. It also enables that the recipient mother lives from the very first moment the gestation, labour and breasfeeding of the future baby.
In the third place, it enables to use the embryos that are frozen.
It is a quick, comfortable, hardly invasive and low-cost treatment.
